Tonight and Tomorrow there is a BIG Party in the Netherlands and Amsterdam(ned) (and you are all invited!)
Officially on April 30 it is Queens-Day in Holland, but because the country has a Calvinistic Christian (north) Catholic (south) Background we cannot party on Sunday! (LOL)
That is why this year is special! We will have Queens day on the 28/29th What a practical Solution! You just smuggle a Day and God is satisfied! Why didn't I think of that!?
Anyway today celebrating Queens day in Holland specially in Amsterdam means quite a Party, I can tell you out of my own experience! You have to be strong! It is like mardi gras, carnival, extravaganza, illegal substance in all forms, total madness for 48 hours and more. That is what it is for almost anyone from the age 18- and up.
Ok maybe this is only 50% of the people celebrating but it sure is something. Music everywhere 2.000.000 people partying at least 24 hours!
I will drink a few. And I will try and post on my way in the internet cafes, how it develops, OK?
Then you will know how it is to live in a modern Monarchy too! (lol)

If there is a party town Amsterdam is it! I think it may even surpass New Orleans which is quite a feat!

i say you guys in the Netherlands are flexible party animals. LOL. showoff! show us some pics! especially the mardi gras type. you know what i mean you dirty Leendert you!
and since it's a party in one of the coolest places in the galaxy, i say go ahead and do limitless cannabis! just remember not to smoke, drink, and drive. you can just pass out on some gutter somewhere. that's a lot safer :)

Ok it is almost midnight in Amsterdam, I start my quest with tea and stuff. There are not many people yet by tomorrow noon there will be over a million. Partying. When I am finished typing I will go to Franken & Kok my favourite hang-out in Amsterdam City Centre, meet my friends and see from there keep you posted! Music on the streets everywhere and lots of Police in the streets, to keep us safe~

So…what you're saying is that the party can't happen on the 30th because it's a Sunday…rather, everyone will be completely burnt out and hungover on the Sabbath…whatever works!
I have fond memories of my time in Amsterdam….still haven't tried weed but have vowed to try it before I'm 45. Hope you have a wonderful time soaking it all in. Perhaps having the focus of reporting to all of us will help to keep you from….going too crazy! Best wishes to you and I'm with you in spirit.
I have surfaced. I am still sane….(lol) After leaving Home on Friday-Night, I just came Home again, it took around 36 hours. I had a short nap yesterday, for a few hours, but it seemed I was the only one needing a rest. I tell you Amsterdamned is quite a place. This morning I was walking through the city, very surrealistic. People walking like ghosts wondrously walking from a to b. I came home safe. I am sober! (Yes ~C) a little tired and an amazing experience richer or poorer, don't know yet. Sorry I couldn't post more of my adventures, after a certain level of partying, publishing about it might be illegal. (lol)
