Life is full of polarities

Life is drenched with polarities and contradictions. If I would really accept all these antilogies of life in myself and understand, adapt and develop the ability to express them, I would be truly enlightened. And not before I can feel all the contradictions I can become complete. All polarities of life are within me.

So wise. Scott Schwenk and I were just having a conversation today about our shadow sides. I think you’re absolutely right that embracing our shadow sides is when we learn to expand and grow. It’s this process that provides the catalyst for us to experience the truth of who we really are - our True Selves. Thanks so much for sharing!
Yes! Absolutely! So often we repress or deny our shadow sides as if it is something to be ashamed of. We dont want others to see the who we REALLY are for fear that they might recoil in horror! Thats because we havent embraced ALL that we are. How can we be complete when we refuse to acknowledge all aspects of ourselves? I know I need hot and cold water to draw the perfect bubble bath. One extreme or the other (too much hot or too much cold) denys me that perfect water temperature. We NEED both light and dark aspects of ourselves!
