My Patience will result in Consequent Success

People and Friends who really know me, understand that one of my qualities is patience. And believe me the first thing an Integral Yogi Student needs to obtain is PATIENCE. :-) I have been learning to use this quality in a more consequent way recently. Since I have developed a certain habit in good practicing, I can measure the direct results. If I do things in a less consequent way, I also immediately see the effects of my in consequent behaviour. Now you would say that this is a reason to Change and it is. But on the other hand I sometimes need to be in consequent to really FEEL the effect of that behaviour. It reinforces my believe I NEED a regular consequent but free experience in my life. I have got to make choices and unfortunately I still make questionable decisions lead by emotions and externally influenced behaviour.
:-( :-0 :-) I AM ALIVE! I can feel it! If someone wants to re-establish contact with the inner child having patience is an extra advantage. It can take a long time before the child accepts and trust my new behaviour.
I need to be very much responsible and consequent to my inner child, exactly as I have to be with my earthly daughter who I am raising as we speak. There is a BIG parallel between my child inside of me and the child my (ex) wife and I gave birth to on this world.
I have found all kinds of ways to enjoy a good relationship with my inner child, it took a while but it was worth every penny! (lol)

Ah yes , PATIENCE…what a blessed quality to possess!
I think You wrote this post for me not for Yourself…lol . One of the things that I have to work on is patience……one of my goals in fact. This is probably the hardest one for me. And that pesky ego is rather difficult to tame.
I think I will be like `The Greatest Salesman in the World`…..**I must discipline myself with my new habits which is as follows……
I will read it each day for 30 days….First in silence when I arise, then after I have partaken of my midday meal, and last before just before I retire and on this most important occasion I will read the words aloud **

work on PERSISTENCE also!

Love it! I am rasing three sons…the paralles are there too…and I am learning that I can have a happy childhood! Any damn time I chose to…Put me in coach, I'm ready to play!

You are patience personified buddy, I know this, you put up with me!! LOL Your inner chlid could not be in better hands, as your beautiful daughter.
Children are so amazing. They give us the gift of re-connecting to our own true essence, and resolve any unresolved issues from our childhood.
Your consciousness about have as close of a connection/relationship with your own inner child as you do with your daughter is brilliant!
And, Heather, I agree - I'm having my happy childhood now!
