Scary Emotions!

The elder part of me is very protective to my inner child. I could describe it as the Elders of my own Tribe, the Peace committee, I wrote about them earlier. They will do anything to protect Leo. My main inner child Archetype. The elders are afraid of an upset inner child. It's hard to deal with that because they feel responsible, like (loving) parents (should) feel responsible. So mainly the elders try to avoid change, trauma's, difficult experiences, so the inner child is protected to the maximum of their possibilities. If I let this process go, my inner child will have no voice of importance because it is misled by the Elders. That way it cannot deal with reality so I needed to learn it is safe to really listen to the emotions of the little fellow inside of me. I must say long ago, these tactics of protecting the inner child were very necessary to survive. But that is not necessary anymore. I can interact in a safe way to reveal my emotional side and learn! That way all my Inner Archetypes can fulfill their needs and have their influences on the WHOLE process.
