The Many ways I contact my Inner Child

I have found all kinds of ways to enjoy the contact with my inner child archetypes. Because I have different Archetypes I also have different needs inside of me to establish a good relationship with my inner child. I have a deep contact with my own daughter and she is the closest child in my life. I play with her a lot and my inner child responds promptly to this Play. I also notice children at the school of my daughter recognise my inner child by establishing contact quickly. It is one of my GREAT joys to enjoy playing and talking with these children, communicate with them, take them SERIOUS, to be honest I take children more seriously then adults. That is what I have learned. Because children are Pure. Take for example the love for Animals. This loving kindness almost all children have naturally. I see my daughter in the Garden following in bliss a butterfly she wishes to capture in her Heart......Do you know what I mean? Children are our future, they are enlightened beings entering the harsh world only to bring love.
I have discovered many ways to be together with my inner child and interact with the world of children, believe me this world looks a lot better then the "real" thing (what is the real thing?) and this tells us the distance we as seekers need to overcome before we can truly live in a world of
Peace and Harmony.

Hello Leendert;
I coudn`t agree more…and the older we get unless we take conscious steps to remind us, to remember we get more and more lost to the world.To be in touch, and be that inner child….to expand the light within. Our true spirit which we often fail to cultivate. We are spirits having a human experience, yet we live just the opposite way.
I have come to see this and feel it also, that is why I am coming from a different place in my life. I am happy that the recognition came before it is too late…often people on their death bed feel the remorse for themsleves, and would do anything to have done things differently. That is sad. I don`t want to be that person. And I am truly happy now.
That is why I think love, compassion, gratitude, appreciation, authenticity, forgiveness, justice , mercy for everything is so important…..ah yes and peace, with which comes harmony! Within and without! To see, feel all, be all. Not just the child within, but the whole. We are all part of the whole. Yet we often live like blindmen….rather like the three monkeys….hear nothing, speak nothing, see nothing that is of value either to ourselves or to the world. Spend the time running after the material world with hollow promises.
I do love Desmond 22`s posts always about the conscious breathing, and that all is part of everything. We are the universe, we are divine, we are love and light. And often it gets eclipsed by the flosem and jetsom of life.And we need reminders constantly like yours! To remember who we really are.
I think that `You are the light of the world, the salt of the earth ` tells all! ` When the Holy Father , John Paul 2 was here in Toronto 2002 that was the theme and spirit of World Youth Day.
WE should remember that!…so Leendert wanna play?….

In school we did a “healing of memories” exercise using Erickson's age stages. Each month we would take a different age stage and silently observe someone in that age range for 30 minutes. We would notice who they were, what their essence was all about, and whatever came forward in us. And then, we would travel back from that essence to a situation or memory in our own lives from that age and see if anything came forward that was ready to be healed/released. It was an incredibly magical process. It became especially interesting as we moved closer to birth.
